Emmet Gowin, this person was born on 1941 in Danville, Virginia. Mostly all of his photos are in black and white, he started to get more people to notice him in the 1970s. He had taught at princeton university for 25 years, then he began putting his attention on the photography. Emmet hat found these beautiful places to take pictures like the landscapes of the American West, Hanford site, Mount St Helens and the Nevada test site. He had got his education from the Virginia Commonwealth University, and the Rhode island school of design. Lastly he got an award for his photography in 1974, Guggenheim Fellowship for creative arts.

in this video I learned the 3 different ways to take amazing photos on my camera.

• the way to take a good photo is using aperture, iso, and shutter speed
• the bigger the aperture is the smaller the photo is
• the depth of field is working on the focus of the photo
• if you are on f1.8 you will get a lot of light
• f22 means you will get less light on your camera
• the slower the shutter is means that it means you have fast exposure and it gives less stuff in your picure will be blurred
• if you have a short exposer and your holding your camera itll still take that picture that you want

• on the second picture it seems like they took a picture of someone holding a camera
• the person took a picture in front of a mirror. this picture is very creative and I like the lighting in the background.
• For the first picture, it looks like the camera is on concrete and the film rolled out of it
• some took a picture right when it was rolling.

• for the forth picture, it is 21 different pictures
• each picture has a different image to it, like a different source of nature
