photographer summary
Emmet Gowin, this person was born on 1941 in Danville, Virginia. Mostly all of his photos are in black and white, he started to get more people to notice him in the 1970s. He had taught at princeton university for 25 years, then he began putting his attention on the photography. Emmet hat found these beautiful places to take pictures like the landscapes of the American West, Hanford site, Mount St Helens and the Nevada test site. He had got his education from the Virginia Commonwealth University, and the Rhode island school of design. Lastly he got an award for his photography in 1974, Guggenheim Fellowship for creative arts.
