one page notes

In the article "the rule of thirds" by Jezsik
  • I learned that the best technique is the rule of thirds but it is challenging to master.
  •  In order to compose it you have to have a mental step back and consider the entire image.
  •  When a object is centered it doesn't give a better like than when it is on the side, when its on the side it gives it a stronger look to it
  • Another good technique is to use the horizon as your advantage it'll give it a better feeling
  • I also learned the closer you are to the horizon the harder it is to apply the rule of thirds
  • if the object is on the side with an open space, it helps set the scene
  • When taking a picture up close, it can fall in nicely with the verbal third lines
  • if you take a picture on the right thirds line, I can help you scan the background before looking at the subject
  • when taking a solo picture, what is recommended to use the 3x3 overlay grid on your screen to show
  • you should at least try to apply the rule of thirds to challenge yourself, it'll help you show how much you have grown
